Does anybody have an original Warrenty Card to his Dino 206 GT? Does it look like the one for a 246 GT L-serie? (picture attached) Regards Matthias Image Unavailable, Please Login
Aloha... I have never seen one for sale or otherwise....all the 206's were Euro cars. Let me know if you find one. Gregg #00350
very interesting ! Did it had any "Dino" writen on the the cover or was it a 275 Ferrari Warrenty Card?
Gregg, that`s my guess. Would be great to have prove. If that`s the case, the pouch could be a Ferrari one too, not a Dino one. L-serie pouch picture attached. Image Unavailable, Please Login
with the exception of a Dino, The specific model of Ferrari is inside (an information line of warranty booklet) and not on outside cover of warranty card. Pre -1974.
I had a 2XX serial number (sub 250 as I recall) 206GT warranty card and sold it to Ferrari Literature, sorry I did I own 0136, again.
I used to own the warranty card for 00362. The card was like yours except it had two punched holes in the left side by the spine. Ferrari would put literature in a two hole binder or clip board at times. I also had 00514 which was the same as yours. Hope this helps.
great, many thanks for your information. It seems that early 206 GT still had the Ferrari Warrenty Cards and the late ones started with the Dino stuff. Could be the same regarding the pouches. Cavallino for the early ones, Dino for the late ones.
See attached photo for contents of 1970 "L" series. Same warranty card as found in 206GT. Cheers, Keith Image Unavailable, Please Login
There is one on eBay that is for the 246 at $275.00 USD http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150389955214 resembles the one on this website for £99.95 but the ebay one is quite a bit higher priced http://www.superformance.co.uk/a-246/accessories.htm Heck, look at the seller's other auctions, seems to be a trend... http://motors.shop.ebay.com/webbayou444/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=
replica for late M-serie and E-serie cars in english language I`m just interested into doing the documention for the 206 GT, but no one world wide seems to have a original warrenty card for a 206 GT :-(
This doesn't mean all that much, but I have seen one for sale since I have been collecting Dino junk. I have seen lots of stuff, including stuff that was supposedly "FAKE" but real, and this hasn't popped up. Having said that, very little 206 stuff has popped up over the last many years to begin with..... I think for the longest time, 206 stuff was about the only thing much more unloved until the 246 came along and then the 246 became better loved than the 206 (I regret not having bought one as they were actually cheaper than 246's when I first was serious). Thank God the 308 GT4 came along after...... (No disrespect to 308Gt4 owners. I would love to have one that was early production alongside the late 246's. I am just speaking in terms of general thinking over the ages. Keep in mind, when I bought my 246 in 2001, it was still the girl's Ferrari.... )
