This is the ex Fast OSCA Mt4 1500TN No 1163, This car was actually originally chassis No 1174 as one of the OSCA factory team cars in 1956. It was renumbered to its present No 1163 when delivered to Fast in March 1957, (the reason being that he quickly needed Italian road-registration documents), totally rebuilt and equipped according to 1957 international regulations, and nicely painted in Swedeish blue-yellow colours. In 1956 it was raced by Luigi Villoresi and Luigi Musso; 56-04-08 GIRO DI SICILIA, VILLORESI, car #315, 1st c.2000, 3rd over all. 56-04-28 MILLE MIGLIA ,VILLORESI, car #436, DNF 56-07-22 GP BARI, VILLORESI, car #12, 2nd c.2000 56-07-29 GIRO DELLE CALABRIE, VILLORESI, car #846, 2nd c.2000 56-09-30 GP SHELL, IMOLA, MUSSO, car #22, 3rd 56-10-21 GP ROMA, 6 ORE DI CASTELFUSANO, MUSSO, car #42, 1st Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its a real, pitty that this fantastic car is not in its original color sheme light-blue/yellow! This would make it very special today! Ciao! Walter
+1: it should be in gul och bla Swedish colors like this! Sorry this is just a vulgar F car made in a suburb south of Modena and not worthy of the Maserati/Osca section [it is 250GTO 3445GT] but its paint scheme is the one discussed here. Marc, not sure if this has to be this blue! The Bonier-150S (and others!) in the mid-50ies, for example, had a much lighter blue. Ciao! Walter
This is the Swedish flag, as you know. That photo of the GTO (at Monthlery during a Tour Auto in the 1990's) is very dark and does not show the colors right. A proud flag not conquered by those Huns from down south;-) best regards, Marc Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is a better one: less dark. People sometimes confuse the Argentine colors with the Swedish ones: I did a test drive of a 375MM for Prancing Horse 11 years ago and its Argentine colrs were extremely similar to this. best regards, Marc Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a colour photo of the car in a swedish car magazine. It was light blue and light yellow then Fast drove the car. Then the car was raced in Italy wasn't it red? I met Fast 1977 at a swedish Maseratimeeting in Håverud. He drove his 365gt 2+2 then. Best regards, Magnus
The owner has slept badly the last 5 years over to go for blue yellow or Red..... Ps Argentinas and swedens racing colours are linked... somehow the argentinian colours were decided by the first ship that came in to B A harbour ( this is only half the story..) The colours of the flag of that ship were to be Boca Juniors and Argentinas colours... Quelmes?
There were several OSCA cars in the Rosso Bianco Museum in Germany. Many cars were sold to the Louwman Collection in Holland. Were is this OSCA Aerodinamica Morelli today. Is this #761 ?. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And here is a picture of #1163/1174 together with a lovely barchetta sport by Morelli (#756), taken at the 2010 Maserati International Meeting in Båstad, Sweden. Cheers, Gabriel Image Unavailable, Please Login

The aerodinamica Morelli #761 before the start of the Le Mans 24 hours in 1959. Is this the ex-Rosso Bianco car? I think there was only one with such a body. And where is this car today? Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hello, I am new to this Post. I am researching the american history of Otto Lintons OSCA 498 2000 S. Can anybody help? Please..
If it would help, I have "Sports Car International" magazine from May 1990, with a feature article on 2000S chassis number 2003. Apparently 2003 was originally imported into the States by Bill David. Chassis 2004 was also in the States, imported by John Mecum. I also have an article on chassis number 2002, in "Octane" magazine #27, September 2005.
If #2003 was imported in the USA by Bill David, then -I assume- the OSCA in post 46 (no.9) shows that car with David`s trademark, the white/black nose band around the radiator. David also owned an A6GCS with that paint livery. Ciao! Walter
