Missus wax asked me to watch the show for her. I just laughed. She said she knew I'd do that. So, as promised, I didn't watch it. But, I did have some fun tweaking CSS and took a cat-nap. Shortly, I'll be trimming bits of fat off some thick Alaskan Halibut to my liking, heating it, and eating it, while shirtless. Eat your hearts out, celebutantes!
there was a blues game on last night, so of course watched that instead. i'm just as happy reading who the winners were the next morning. still haven't seen "no country for old men" or "there will be blood" yet, but soon enough i will.
Clay Davis did his classic ''sheeeet''...it's starting to be a cliche...but still good. And Omar took one upside da'head,''dat'uns bagged'',great line for 'he's dead'. 'The Wire' is good...two episodes left.
I'm not usually into this type of stuff, but I watch the Oscars. Don't ask why, I do not know the answer. My $.02: --I'm a big fan of Jon Stewart but didn't think he was that great. --What surprised me was the best song category. 3 out of 5 were from "Enchanted" (?), none were any good and all three live performances blew balls. Why wasn't Eddie Vedder's song from "Into the Wild" nominated? --The chick from Michael Clayton. Goooo-fy. According to the radio, she has 2 husbands--one who is her real husband and another one that she's allowed to "date". Surprised she won (ooh, sorry for the spoiler! Start a thread about ruining the results!). She was OK at best in the movie. --Kanye West got shafted. Should have won. It doesn't matter that he wasn't up for anything. Dammit! He still should have won!
I was shocked to see that IRL she looks even worse than in the movie. What really got shafted was "Charly Wilson's war.". IMHO the best movie of 2007. Wasn't even nominated. The Hollywood dopes thought it was a comedy. Duh!
