Vince, your wish is my command. After all the Ferrari contents are getting a bit low over the cold months, so let's hear it from the chatters. And in regional we can get a bit OT, so I'll make the start:

    Fav. Bond actor:
    Sean Connery

Fav. Car in a Bond film:
Lotus Esprit Turbo (gets blown up within a few seconds of screen time)

Unfavourite Car in a Bond film:
The friggin 2CV which replaces the Lotus. The ultimate definition of POS.

    Fav. overall Bond film:
    Never say never again.

    Fav. Bond Girl...
Terri Hatcher, unfortunately her screen time is cut way too short in the Four Seasons Hamburg. If people like her in Desperate Housewifes, they should see her in the Bond flick. Dynamite.
Sophie Marceau a close 2nd though; at least while her ear is covered.

    Fav. Bond Bad Guy
Hehe, Drax in Moonraker. A friend of mine teases me by telling me I look like Drax. If nothing else we have the same ideas: World domination. It is harder than it looks....
    :)

Fav. Ferrari in a Bond movie:
355 in Die another day reaching terminal velocity of 200 mph.

On a side note: One of my cousins was Assistant Director in a Bond movie. I'm mighty proud of him. :)

Way to start it off Andreas!!That is great that one of your cousins got to work on a Bond film! What film did he work on?

    Fav. Bond actor:
Roger Moore...I may be on an island with that pick but I like him the best.

Fav. Car in a Bond film:
The Lotus Esprit in For You Eyes Only. I believe that was the car you were talking about that does not get much screentime.

Unfavourite Car in a Bond film:
Was never a big fan of the original Aston Martin (DB5)....I know I know I'm crazy..

    Fav. overall Bond film:
The Man with the Golden Gun & Moonraker

    Fav. Bond Girl...
So many...I think I gotta go with Jane Seymour as Solitaire in Live and Let Die.

    Fav. Bond Bad Guy
Wow you do look like Drax! Drax is good call but I got to with with Christopher Lee as Francisco Scaramanga AKA The Man With The Golden Gun!!

Fav. Ferrari in a Bond movie:
The 355 in Goldeneye is awesome...I know that car from somewhere?
Notice when she downshifts that she is really throwing the car in reverse? Next time you watch Goldeneye check it out...I guess you would call it a movie glitch.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
Bonus-This will be easy for all the hardcore Bond fans.

Fav. Car in a Bond film:
Come on - the original Austin Martin, the best gadgets

Unfavourite Car in a Bond film:
    The friggin 2CV I agree

    Fav. overall Bond film:
Gold Finger and Thunderball - original classics

    Fav. Bond Girl...
All of them, that's why they are Bond girls

    Fav. Bond Bad Guy
    Odd Job

Fav. Ferrari in a Bond movie:
    355 in Die another day

Best gadget - How did you miss this one

    His jet pack

My cousin was assistant director in The living daylights. He was in charge of all the extras (of which there were many in a Bond movie) at one set location.

I like Moore a lot for his debonaire humor.

Have to check on that 355 downshift. The entire dialogue of that scene is hilarious. And nothing beats the chilled bottle of champagne.

I did rather lousy on the test, only 6 out of ten.

Funny that you like Moonraker. Most Bond fans hated that one as it was too Sci-Fi and no longer gangster style Bond like. But hey, a series of Space Shuttle launching out of the Amazon jungle undetected by the world is pretty nifty. :)

    Good one.

My favourite gadget: The watch with the LED display. Because it is one of the few items I was actually able to buy myself. Ten years later...

    Best Gadget....THE ROLEX!!!!!
It made me want to buy one...The jet pack was also very kool.

The fact that Moonraker was a sci-fi film added a kool spin to it. Sci-Fi movies are fun to watch. I find myself watching them alone becuase ya' know the females don't take part in those movies.

    On a bond side note..
Do you guys remember that lighter company called Calibri. I don't know if they are still around making lighters but they designed and made the Golden Gun for the film. Remember the Golden Gun doubles as a pen/lighter and cig holder. I gotta get me one of those..too bad I don't smoke.

    Thanks.
    Vince

Fav. Car in a Bond film:
His Bentley, and then replaced by the DB-5. Also liked the DB-7 and the Vanquish.

Unfavourite Car in a Bond film:
That Sunbeam was pretty weak in You Only Live Twice

    Fav. overall Bond film:
Gold Finger and From Russia With Love

    Fav. Bond Girl...

    Auric Goldfinger

BMW 750 ('cause I have one)

I pretty much agree with Haley on that.

Bond? I like both Sean Connery and Roger Moore. But,Moore is more of the "International Playboy" Type.

Car? Lotus Espirit. Both the White one,and the Bronze one.

Villian? Definitely, since I am an Old MetalHead,it's gotta be "Jaws".... :#

Movie? All of them, really. They all have their own "personality" so to speak... But,Octo***** is one of the favorites.

    Bond actor: Sean Connery

Fav Bond car: DB5 "With Special Modifications"

Unfavorite Car in a Bond film: I would have to skim through the movies, there were a few eastern Euro block cars used in simple scenes that were nasty looking. I for one were never a fan of the old Lotus styling and thought it looked better as a sub than car. Worst Bond car, the 4 second blurb of a hyped up Z3.

Fav overall Bond film: Three way tie: Goldfinger, Never Say Never Again, License to Kill ( Never though Dalton did too bad. )

Fav Bond Girl: There are many to list and this is a better topic than cars... but the most attractive bad one I thought was actually the girl who gets hit by the missile when flying the chopper while the Lotus was in the water, Barbara Carrera in Never was just smoking, Lupe in License to Kill looked so cute, but chopper pilot Onatop in Goldeneye is just too wild, frisky and sexy not to like. Denise Richards in the sub and in the wet, and it was still sinking!?! Ach, Rick is right they're all good... and bad in good ways!

Fav Bond Bad Guy: Its a hard question to answer as there is a lead and then a henchman. Best combo was definitely Goldfinger and Oddjob. Jaws was always funny but Oddjob just seemed so cold (smiling when he got Tilly Masterson, ) and that was great for the character. Jaws went downhill, in fact so much did in that horrible Bond turned sci-fi flick. The blone guy and Hearst wannabe in Die Another Day, I think an 8 year old Girl Scout could take out.

Fav Ferrari in Bond: The 355 chase.

Best gadget: Bond's wit and charm to nab any woman he want. Keep your Rolex.

Best Quote!!! " That's my little Octo*****."

    RocketBoy

I hate to admit it Andreas and since someone else mentioned it, I always thought you looked like Drax but didn't want to state it in honor of not hurting anyone's feelings. Given your love for rockets too, it was just too obvious.

Forgot about the Z3, but you're right.

No problem, I consider it a badge of honor to be compared to a Bond villain of such high caliber. :) We even did a cameo/hommage scene for Drax in my movie, but it ended up on the editing floor. Few people would have gotten the joke.

Current issue of "Octane" has a special article about the DB5 from 007. The car's history and all the gadgets are explained. Including some that didn't even make it into the movie.

Big agreement here - Connery is the most watchable, but Dalton his HIGHLY underrated & the most believable as a spy/assassin vs just a playboy.
