Glad to hear that, can't imagine what it must have been like.
Great news that he is ok. Should think that poor reggie must have been in a state. However he's one of the lucky ones. A lot were not so fortunate. My deepest sympathy to those who are no longer with us.
Guys there is not a lot i can do here in Wales but i feel for you all, if there is anybody that you would like me to phone or anything whatsoever i can do please let me know as soon as possible, you can either send me a PM or email me at [email protected] please guys nothing would be considered to small.
Just want to thank everyone for the updates and inparticular Chris for getting in contact with Mathew for me ? Seriously thank you, i owe you a big drink. Was doing my nut here but for me things have worked out, others have not been so lucky, my thoughts go out to everyone who has been effected by this, i sort of know how you might be feeling. News here are saying that a group linked to Al Q have claimed responsibility for this and have threatened Denmark and Italy Reg ps bit worried that my wife decided to go and get Matt when she heard the bomb had gone off near to his work, these bloody Aussies !
sorry, can i just add. There are a few here saying that the 3rd Test Match shouldnt be played. Please dont let this effect your lives, its terrible what has happened but we must do everything as normal or these murderers will win. Everything, if possible should go on as normal and show these people that we are stronger than they are !
Anyone else hearing the rumour that 1 or 2 people carrying explosives were shot at Canary Wharf/Citibank?
For real? Not heard it on the news yet. I have family working at Barclays Capital , I'll put in a call to see if he's heard anything
Just got back from an attampt to get to work, 6 hours later. Utter chaos in London, really feel for anyone hurt or worst. I wish every misery and a hideous death to the ****ing perpetraters of this.
Half the people I'm talking to maintain it was a shooting, half are now saying it was a woman, run over by a fire engine. Are all the London f-chatters accounted for?
hmmm. stuck in office between Moorgate & Liverpool Street - at least the frequency of the sirens has reduced - an eery and surreal calm has decended on London Wall and the City in general. Tom, if you'd like to pop down and collect me later, that would be fab. I suspect the Thameslink will be bollox'd for the duration and I'm in for a 40 mile schlep home sometime before Saturday... So sad for all those impacted, my heart-felt best wishes
rotting is too good for them, whatever they beleive there is never ever any justification for this cowardly, yellow livered attack. My heart goes out to those hurt and to the families of those killed. I hope the authorities get and deal with these b*strds real quick.....does anyone know if it was suicide bombing?
Hey Guys, from a brother across the pond, my sincere condolences, I hope noone had any family/friends injured. God Bless and down with the terroists bastards who did this !!
I'm as stuffed as you are mate, as is my father. I'm over in Aylesbury today and was relying on the circle line and Thameslink to get back, not sure what to do now. My father's trying to beg/steal/borrow a bike to cycle home on! Rather him than me.
Just got a mail from our Facilities dept - Liverpool St closed for rest of day and may be open again tomorrow.
Was due to be in Limehouse this morning, but changed my plans earlier in the week, I've already thanked the person who made me change plans Feel very sorry for the people caught up in somebody else's war
