I understand Speedy308 has been invited to join the Rice University Facilities and Engineering team... He'll be kicking sand in Pit #34! This is a good time.....down on East Beach by the jetty...... 7AM and judging around 5PM........then the waves do the rest!
I know I'm lame....listen I did good just to get there and get back off Galveston Island! You gotta take the backside thrufare that goes by Jean LaFitte's old crib... Surf was kickin' tooo.....wish I'd taken a board.... Maybe Tillman can find the media picks and post a link.........they were all over...helicopters, etc..........it's a big scene with the AIA MEP and GC firms here........
Dang! I was in Galveston the whole weekend and missed this thread. Does anyone have pics? Anyway going back to Galveston tomorrow for the week to look at some properties..
