OT: Hotel Recommendation in Detroit? Rush Concert, planning to drive :-)

    In celebration of my Brother's 40th year, we're taking in 3 Rush Concerts in April, Detroit, Hamilton Ontario and then Montreal, was thinking about shipping an F-car out there from Boston and driving back.

    Any recommendations of a nice hotel which has secure parking that I could ship the car to safely? I would normally default to 4-seasons, but there isn't one in Detroit as far as I can tell.

    What with all the negatives about Detroit in the press, I thought I'd seek local advice as to where to stay! Thanks for any recommendations!

    Can't go wrong with the Townsend in Birmingham.Safe & secure,very nice rooms.Where all the celebs stay while in town.There are others as well,if that doesn't fit your needs.

    If the concert is at The Palace in Auburn Hills,another closer alternative to the concert venue is The Royal Park Hotel in Rochester,Mi.Equally very nice,and out of the way ,if thats something that you are interested in.

    Great place,but rather far from concert venue @ The Palace.But certainly worth consideration.

    Also I just saw rush last summer in Sarnia. It was awesome. I had to skip the palace concert though since I got school final the next day.
