No offense but YOU'RE afraid of what THEY are going to do? Reply to his texts telling him that yes you were the one that called the cops and ask him what he is going to do about it. Tell him you had enough of his **** and that you are done being a nice guy.

I finally called the cops and I was surprised that they cared and came out. He sat in his car listening and of course the dog was going crazy and he heard enough and knocked on their door. He said he would give them a warning and if it doesn't stop to call them back and he will come and write them a citation. I felt bad for calling but he said he could relate and that I shouldn't be disturbed in my own house.

Good. Hopefully it will stop.

I don't understand how owners of these dogs can tolerate the barking. I'd want to kill my own dog if it acted like that.
