My dad passed away gently last friday with has family at his side. He lived 94 amazing years, and is now reunited with mom up in Heaven ! He was truly a member of the Greatest Generation, and was instrumental in the development and building of Dallas and North Texas. He taught his kids and grandkids about loving, and giving back to your community and those in need. He loved entertaining people with his play by ear piano skills, and was doing dueling piano parties way before the Pete's Piano Bar's ever thought about it. He leaves 3 kids, 8 grandkids, and 8 great-grandkids, who will miss him greatly. Here is his obit, so you can get a feel for this great father ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
My condolences to you and your family. If it is any consolation, it sounds like your dad lead a full and meaningful life.
RIP Sounds like a great man, you are blessed to have had him as your dad. Celebrate his life and teachings and pass them on to future generations!!
Phil, so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Your Dad was a gentleman in every sense. I was glad to have been given the opportunity to meet him. JP
Phil, My Condolences go out to you and your family. What a full life your father had. He has definately left a positive example in his time here. I was glad to have met him.
My condolences, Phil - Sounds like a great man, who even touched the lives of those of us in the DFW area without us knowing it. RIP.
Phil, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...so very sorry to hear. My Dad's birthday was January 4th...of course I think of him then, and almost every day, really. May your Dad Rest In Peace.....
Sorry for your loss, he sounds like he was a great man, and lived a long and prosperous life. My Aunt - my mother's identical twin - passed this week, but far younger (71). It was hard for me as she looked exactly like my mom (who is still alive)...my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Your Dad sounds like he was very accomplished and respected. I'm sorry for your loss, but I believe for him like my brother who just passed away at 64 that they both have a deserving place with the Lord. Larry
Very sad news. I enjoyed all of the lunches with you & your Dad. Glad I got to spend time with him on many occasions.
