I need help with what Dallas radio stations to program in my stereo. Scanning i have found so far: 88.1 jazz 89.3 blues 92.5 classic rock 102.1 pop rock 97.1 rock 93.3 rock 103.7 soft rock 102.9 modern pop 105.3 talk 101.1 classical Im looking for: Reggae bluegrass/old timey country Funk Anything out of the ordinary No country, no rap please. Thanks for your suggestions. Whats your favorite station? What about AM? I havent even tried that yet.
On my dial I have: 100.3 - Adult Contemporary 101.1 - Classical 102.1 - Rock 102.9 - Adult Contemporary 103.3 - Sports Talk 103.7 - Adult Contemporary 104.5 - R & B 106.1 - Top 40 106.7 - Dance w/R & B 107.5 - Jazz If you live farther north (Around Denton/Argyle) 97.5 is a good mix station as well. Dallas/FW doesn't have a good blend of stations in my opinion. I think the best city in terms of selection is San Jose, CA.
89.3 is KNON, public radio so it's always changing 92.1 is (out west) Classic Country Gold from Granbury area 95.3 is non-mainstream country/bluegrass out of the Plano area 95.9 is "50,000 watt blowtorch of twang" from Fort Worth
Come on guys, where's the electronica/dance stations? I listen to 105.3 talk most of the time. When I want music it's usually 93.3 or the CD player.
All those speakers and watts and amps and thingies and do-dads and you pump XM radio through them...? No CDs...?
http://www.knon.org/index.php?id=251 A schedule of what plays when on KNON 89.3, as well as a link in the upper right to listen online. 6 to 8pm is blues every night. My favorite is the Rockabilly Revue on tuesday nights at 8pm
Au contrare....the choices are XM or CDs. I've given up on regular radio. And I love my thingies and do dads.
105.3 in the mornings for Stern then MP3's until Russ Martin comes on. I'm not much of a fan of Pugs & Kelly Show. Others: 88.7 KTCU 89.3 KNON 101.1 WRR Everything else is crap. I miss the old days of ZROCK, KZEW, & Q102. One thing is for sure, I'm getting Sirrus satellite radio.
90.1 is NRP public radio and BBC at night 107.5 plays very eclectic stuff (alternative jazz) on the weekends at night
