As long as it is a Fixed Penalty, I'm pretty certain it will be 3 points, £60. 52 in a 30 is pretty marginal though, so I'm not sure...

I-O-M seems an increasingly good idea. For sure, if only it had the Cote D'Azur's weather I'd be there!

50mph or above in a 30 - he will probably be summoned to court. It is above the fixed penalty speed and is liable for prosectution. I did my research when i was flashed in a 30 doing 55 (it was a derestricted 50 due to road works) and was bricking it. Could expect up to £200 fine and 3-6 points depending on his luck that day.

    Cheers

    Lee

26 mph over the posted limit is the ceiling for a fixed penalty notice. He'll "cop" a £60 fine and three kisses on his licence!

    Mike

BTW, Phil, we're doing a run out on the 14th to Swansea via Brecon, Llandeilo and Carmarthen on Sunday 14th. Why don't you pop down to see Dylan at Dick Lovetts to check who's going? I'm sure there'll be a spare seat somewhere!
