don't know if this is allowed here? But I'm selling my 1997 SeaRay 420 Aft Cabin with only 200 hours sitting at lake lewisville ...

    the book sais this:

    Mint : $240,000

    Used : $225,000

    Trade : $212,000

I'll take $200,000 for it? Want to downsize and buy a wakeboard boat (my new found addiction) can't justify having two boats ...

    Thanks,
    Dario

The boat show starts today, get it in the Boat Trader and the paper. People will have the fever!

A friend of mine just sold his '02 36' Chapparal about 4 mos ago. It took him nearly 9 months. Good luck!

Usually the size of the boat is in the name of the boat so 420 is a 42 footer and so on ... the spec sheet on my boat sais it's 45 feet overall ... two bedroom, two bath, laundry room, kitchen, living room, etc ...

here are the only pics I could find, there are more but not appropriate ...

Dang, I need me a boat.

I grew up always with a fishing boat in the range of 17-19'. I can't imagine having a boat that big. How hard is it to drive and how much water depth do you need? You could live on that. I think many people do, like at Grapevine. No property taxes!

    Rob,

I think it's quite simple to drive the boat ... you just have to stay calm and let ur brain work without panic ... I see alot of people freak out and push the gas instead of the gear and vice-versa ... once confidence builds up it's really easy ... it can be a one man job in good or fair weather but if winds pick up you would need a helper ... I'm only 23 so I haven't had 20 years of boating experience ... who ever buys the boat I'll give them free lessons ... I've had the boat so that the display sais i'm in 2 feet of water soooo that would be two feet from the bottom of the boat sooo that would mean about 4 to 5 feet ...

As a speedboat owner, I second the merits of ownership.

I always advise my crew when we cross the 1 mile from shore "clothing optional" demarcation line! LOL

I was once attacked by a boat that size on Travis. He tried to back over me.

I'm going for a Cigarette 36' Gladiator for APBA Offshore Factory 2 myself, but that's a NICE cruiser! Sorry you're giving it up.

Man, Jason, for a guy from Clear Lake, you should know more about boats. Meet me at the Turtle Club. I heard they found that missing TOPPS member, and it wasn't floating in Galveston Bay!

Did he have the $4 Million on him?

Boats and marriage can be good.

My first wife came with a 21' sailboat. I turtled that SOB on Travis in a storm, with her parents on board! Nobody drowned though. I guess that was my chance to disappear, and I missed my cue!

Putting a new transom in the 19' speed rig right now.
Should be parasailing again by May.

    Keith,

Hot, cold, dirty, oily, tired, loud days at the track = no hot chicks.

Pleasant, cool, sun, alcohol, nice water days at the lake = hot wet drunk naked chicks.

    :D
