The cars you posted are all 4 doors except the VW. I would personally go for a Chysler 300C but they are pretty damn big. Otherwise I actually really like the new WRX STI. I saw a really nice white one with black rims a week or 2 ago.

Those are about the hottest casr in that price range, however I think you could pay a little more and walk away with a better car. Try an new Audi A4 2.0t, Audi A3, or even try a new 3 series or Z4. In the end good luck with whatever you choose.

    hey guys,

thank you for all the ideas, the only issue is that i am 6'9 so obviously an elise is out of the question (c'mon jay you should know this). btw two doors is not a requirement. a white sti with black rims...sounds pretty sick. [scratches chin] thanks again guys keep 'em coming

    Richard,
I'm looking at the same three cars for my next, and have done extensive research on all of them. Depends what you want, bc the VW is a different animal altogether, but the STI/EVO are comparable in every way.

    My notes so far:
VW (I only consider an R32 - best model by far)
    - Slowest of the three
    - Best overall quality in EVERY way
    - VW reliable
    - smallish if you want to carry 4 people
    - A normal GTI can't even compare to STI/EVO in performance and not AWD

    Mitsu
    - Quickest of the bunch
    - Like seats better than STI
    - Many trick parts
    - wait a year for the new bodystyle

    Subaru
    - Very good in all respects
    - Many trick parts
    - UGLY new nose

Best of luck and keep us posted as to what you get.
    David
