OT Tech - replacing pwr window motors

i have a '96 jeep cherokee and the power windows are starting to get very slow. i'm guessing that the most logical diagnosis would be that the motors need to be replaced? anyone done this on a jeep or other chrysler product? i'm not very mechanically inclined but thought it would be a fun project, if not too terribly complicated. thoughts?
