Hey guys, I'm finally making it to New Zealand in September! I've always heard NZ was the most beautiful place in the world and now I finally get to see for myself. It has always been the one place I wanted to visit before my time was up. Anyway, I'll definitely be checking in with y'all on what to do but my first question is what airlines are the best to fly into NZ from the US, considering price, of course, but also quality of the airline? Any good websites to check out for specials? I'm going to be flying a couple people in so a good deal would be helpful! TIA for any info. Much appreciated.

I'll check out Quantas, thanks. Any experience with Air NZ? I flew from Narita to Bangkok on Thai Airs and that was not a very pleasant flight!

What kind of car stuff is there to do in NZ? I'll only be there 4, maybe 5 days but some kind of car stuff is mandatory!

I flew Air NZ about 10 years ago with no service complaints. Although I was seated next to two cuddling Australian lesbians which was awkward. It was like the lead singer from Blues Traveller nuzzling John Leguizamo.

    LOL!

Tyler - I HIGHLY recommend that you do the Black Water Rafting or other caving experience at Waitomo. Rappel into an underground river, drift in a tube downriver watching blue glowworms, then climb out, including scaling waterfalls.

    Try Air NZ - www.airnz.co.nz.

Its our National Airline and they have flights direct from LA and San Francisco.

Make sure you get down to Queenstown - its at the bottom of the South Island and is fantastic.

I hope you dont plan to by a F-Car - they are bloody expensive - a decent 355 will still set you back $150-$200K NZD!!
