Other Than EBay, Where to Sell a Custom Car?

autotrader.com has alot of race cars and just about anyhting you can name..

 

Autotrader wouldn't be a bad idea...or maybe in JC Whitney..

 

Selling out sure beats putting your money where your mouth is!

Ebay is the best buy for targeted advertising. Many, many more cars sell because of Ebay exposure than sell on Ebay.

Next best are the marque-specific classifieds often sponsored by clubs or sites. Do a search for other similar cars for sale and you might find some less than obvious places to post it.

http://www.rallyclassified.com/ is another place that a lot of hardcore enthusiasts check regularly, but might not be your direct market.

Ignore the ******. Some people are just not worth wasting your breath on. And he is one of them.

You might consider listing the car in Hemmings. Autotrader seems to be pretty popular these days. Ebay could be a good way to go, but there are just so many scammers and goof-balls bidding on cars there these days, I'd be concerned about trying to sell something there, especially as specialized as your RX.

You could sell it to your neighbor. That way you could be surprised and shocked when you see it again, and post here every time that happens

 

Post some pictures of the car, maybe someone here is interested in it. Also, try looking at Mautofied.com; its a classifieds site dedicated to customs.

As for selling your car, if not on Ebay, then try a publication like Old Car Trader, or Sports & Custom Car Trader.
