If you want to be a big fish in a small pond, move to Ottawa! LOL I can count how many people have high-end cars here. An older man on my girlfriend's street counts on the biggest collections really, a 355 and 360 spyder. Otherwise you have the owner of Corel with a few Porsches and his wife with a Yellow 355 and neon underglow, that's something you got to see.
Andre, Your out of touch my friend. Marlene drives a 360 now, not a 355. I know of 3 other Ferrari's, a Porche GT2 out of the West End, Gallardo..etc. You have to get out more!
I know, I mean in general... There's a 17 year old with a 360 spyder, there's a Gallardo, Carrera GT. I wasn't aware of her 360, but last time she was beside me at a light in her 355. There's a few rich people in town, but you rarely see them. Opposed to going to Mtl or TO and you instantly see one. Bigger population of course, but yeah.
The 17 year old was probably Marlene's latest boytoy (she likes em young). As to the dearth of exotic cars...we have fewer drug dealers here than in TO and Montreal! I'm not usually in the East end, but it's possible.
The 17 year old is apparently not related to Cowpland. He just wanted a 36- sypder, and he got it. I believe his older brother has an s55. Lucky family.
There are a number of Ferrari's in Ottawa. At least 3 x TR's, 4 x 355 and 2 x 360, a couple 308GTSi and a maranello or two, a 308GTB a few 328's, and 348's, probably 25-30 cars total in the Ottawa area.
I've seen a red 246 Dino and a 365 GT 2+2 (I think now for sale in California). Also heard that there was another 2+2 V12 car around.... Roy
Where do Ottawans go for Ferrari service? All the way to Montreal? Or is there a good indepedent in town?
