Looks like he really was fixated on the light, jumped when he saw green, and the other guy was pushing his red. At least it wasn't a full T-bone.
Interesting how the SUV just went ahead with his turn as if nothing happened.... dont stop to see if anyone is hurt and needs help or anything. Humans these days... they never cease to profoundly disappoint me.
well, at least theres good evidence that the 355 wasn't at fault. Of course he did gun it at the light but I think he would still get an insurance pay out. What a shame. Sure did sound good though!
Looked to me like he found himself in the left-turn lane and decided he wanted to turn right -- hence the rush to beat the truck in the right hand lane when the light turned green. Just my speculation of course -- to way to know for sure what was really happening. - Eric
From what I see, it seems that it's a one way road. As there are no cars driving in the opposite direction, however, you can see that the road is divided by some sort of median between both directions, as well as the car with the camera and all other motor vehicles turned right.
These days, no good deed goes unpunished. It's usually best to just keep moving if at first glance everyone involved is still moving around.
