Good interview, he comes across as a decent guy that I think people will be able to relate to. I'm guessing the truck driver didn't even see him, the danger of low cars for all to see.
Agreed, I thought he interviewed well. My only concern is why his car is so far over the double-yellow with no discernible tire skid marks or tracks that would indicate it was pushed in that direction by the pickup. Doesn't jive well with the "I was stopped at the light" story. Diminished value is going to be a real PITA for him and the insurance company given the age of the car ... wonder if he now has to get back on another waiting list if the car is written off.
Poor guy! This would have to be everyone's worst nightmare. Couldn't help chuckling though at the interviewer saying "...well let's hope it's just cosmetic..." Just trying to cheer him up I guess.
Yeah the guy really handled himself well. Seemed like a heart broken nice guy... What a terrible event... Hmmm... maybe red is a hard color to see? Color blind? On the cell phone? Bummer!
