Hi Gang: Can anyone please recommend a top quality cover for a 308? I would like to buy a 308 GTS and I will be parking the car outside of the front of my house (I realize this isn't an ideal situation, I don't have a garage) during the spring and summer months. I'll store it in the winter, I'm in Canada. I plan on driving the car everyday, but I would like to cover it up at night. I am hoping that the cover will offer some kind of deterrent against emblem theft, scratches and the wet weather on off days. Is there such a thing as a lockable one? or difficult to cut? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you, Glenn Retouching Limited Only By One's Imagination http://www.retouch.ca
You might start at www.beverlyhillsmotorsport.com/bhmotor/carcovers/bhmcustomcovers.html but I don't know if any one cover will meet all your criteria. By the way, I visited your website -- OUTSTANDING work... very impressive.
Thank you both very much, I'll check out the links. >>By the way, I visited your website -- OUTSTANDING work... very impressive.<< Thank you, I appreciate the kind comments. It has taking a while to get to that level! Glenn
Noah Noah Noah Take it from someone who does not have a Garage (never has) and keeps 8 cars outside 24/7. Listen to me NOT a salesman. I know what I am talking about because I have walked the walk with this for 2 decades.
I got a California Car Cover made of NOAH fabric for the Mondial. I've used it outside and it is everything that people said it was. It did the job perfectly and has held up nicely. Very worthwhile purchase if you are keeping the car outside.
I actually did have a carport put up finally back in 02 but that only covers 2 cars and just direct sunlight and direct rain. By direct rain I mean it still blows in there since it doesn't have sides. I keep the Ferrari and my 80 Scirocco in there. The Alfa, other 2 Sciroccos, Touareg, Jeep, Ford Pickup and Caddie have to tough it out. I think that actually makes 9 cars...AND I am about to bring home a little MG too so make that 10.
