we've been lately in Maranello, drove the F12 for a day, made a little movie about it. sorry, it is spoken in swiss-german... but still, some nice shots (not of the driver).

(go to the end of the story, there: Film.)

I absolutely LOVE the exterior styling of this car. The interior, not so much. I get it, just not my cup of tea. Watching the Autocar video on youtube though I can't help but think that the next generation is going to be more like a video game or a carnival ride. Just sit back, and the car will drive itself at the limits on a winding road so you can feel the thrill of an all out drive but you won't really need any skill to do it.

You don't have to clutch, no wheel spin, if it starts to step out it fixes itself. You just floor it, steer, push a button for the gear you want and it goes.Wrong gear? no problem, the car knows better than you.

Nice car, goes fast, beautifully made, wonderful to be in and thrilling at speed too. I'd love to take my Sweetheart to dinner and the Opera in it. A drivers car? Not to me. I guess I really am getting old.

nathan, you are definetely right - but to drive it without electronic helpers, you need a lot of space...
it still is a drivers car, even with all systems on, because the precision is amazing: best ever.

Its called skill and control. Too many people today rely on 'nannys' whether electronic or from the government to save them.

When I am instructing, I make my students turn everything OFF. As long as the safety net is there, they learn nothing.
