I really love the GTO wheels on the 812! I think it is the best-looking wheel option for the 812. Your 812 is drop dead gorgeous. Enjoy!
Love it! So jealous and counting the minutes until mine arrives....should literally be any day. Enjoy!
John that is perfection buddy, love how you kept it without carbon and thats coming from someone that oozes his cars with the stuff.
Thanks so much! We went back and forth but in the end liked the classic look of these. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Blu Abu Dhabi. My wife fell in love with it! It is quite a change from our typical gray/silver... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
We have always had at least some Carbon but decided none on this one. Even did the shift lights with leather wrapped wheel! Instead we spent all the option money on luggage. Haha!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
That’s what I thought! My 488 spider is Abu Dhabi. After I saw the color on a 488 GTB I knew I had to have a car in that color. Your wife has great taste.
That’s what I keep saying! Haha! Going through and configuring the car is so much fun. I spent hours (too many) looking at pics, playing with the online configurator, etc. I knew we were going to do something different, probably a blue, and my wife, of course, spent zero prep time, but was completely engaged and excited when we would settle on a piece. I would love to visit the atelier someday. But yes it is a fantastic color. I was worried a bit after the order because of the renderings. But live and in person... Enjoy that spider!! Love the spec!! I was thinking about doing the same thing with the leather wrapped LED steering wheel when I spec my 812. Is that an atelier thing or can you just order it that way? Also how much is it (leather LED steering wheel) compared to the carbon fiber LED steering wheel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When we were spec’ing the car, I just said that I would like to have the lights but don’t want to have any carbon. My salesman said he can make that happen and that was that. It added 30 days to the build, I was told. As far as pricing... I never asked. In fact I didn’t ask the price of any options... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thank you! Yes now I am contemplating the subtleties of Pozzi or TDF. LOL Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
For the next one? TDF would be closer to your Blu Abu Dhabi, Pozzi is a color you need to see in person, in sunlight and then in shade, and at scale, not on a swatch. I love so many colors but I'd have to say its my favorite Ferrari color. For me it all depends on the car: its size, shape, scale, then I can decide on a color. Is the interior Sabbia? I love the leather LED wheel. I prefer the feel of leather to the CF.
Also love that LED leather wheel. Not a fan of carbon on the rim of the wheel itself. Ok on the central part of the wheel but not the rim. Leather far more tactile.
This is the first leather wrapped wheel I have had and I much prefer it to the carbon rim. I agree the center is fine in carbon, but the leather is a much better feel. I’ll be doing that again. Caeruleus, the interior is Tortora with blue stitching. It does look a lot like Sabbia in the pictures. I really do like the color and think it compliments the car nicely. Argh...my dealer (great guy(s) and fantastic style/spec advice) suggested I do it your way and I kind of panicked and switched at the last minute back to carbon. Great to know for the next car. Also, good news/bad news. Factory didn’t get the message in time to fly the car over but it has arrived in New Jersey and we are expecting next week. I couldn’t pick it up until this week due to travel so I guess I saved some $$ for not a long wait. Will post as soon as I have my hands on it. Hope your driving continues to be fantastic.
