And I officially have a stalker who is showing up right here in Charlotte tonight. Looks like Hutch is going to have to save my ass as I told this girl Hutch is an old college buddy staying with me at my hotel. Let's hope Hutch has a few more friends as I told this girl more than one person was staying with me. LOL!

This chick drove a few hours from somewhere even though I implored her NOT TO. She actually invited herself to Florida to stay with me "for a few days" as well...went and got her car "fixed" and "hair done". I never invited her, only mentioned in a Myspace email I would be in CLT and was performing here. She then took it to a whole new level. I've never spoken or even met this girl.

Judging by the fact the new Batman movie is out tonight, the only people likely to be there are probably Hutch and this nutcase. It's going to be a bumpy night.

I've had a half dozen or so of these encounters during the past 10 years. A few of the chicks I've met under similar circumstances actually ended up being cool, long term friends. One girl somehow got a hold of my fax number years ago and used to send me constant, longing love letters even though I'd never met her. I usually don't want to be rude to anyone, especially a fan, but it's a weird experience and I do not want complete strangers sleeping in my room.

I cannot imagine what a woman goes through when a guy is stalking them.

Thanks for everything, including the drinks. In the CLT airport now waiting for my flight. Freaking awesome time last night. Hutch is the man. Met the "stalker", she turned out to be pretty cool, sounded crazier in her emails than she actually turned out.

Hutch's friend Charley is HOT - a 5' 10" brunette model who is just bangin' from top to bottom. No way would I have gotten ANY sleep had I gone to her place, she was still calling my phone at 5:05 but I had passed out hard. Not actually going over to her place is something I will probably regret for a looooong time...but I had to get up at 8:30 and now gotta repeat the whole thing again tonight in FL. I'd be a total mess tonight if I had done anything different. The girl was no doubt wicked.

REMIX - You are welcome to hit Charlotte anytime !!! Next time though, You'll have to play a better venue than Moorehead tavern. Something like SUITE or Whiskey River ( WWW.WHISKEYRIVERCHARLOTTE.COM ), would definitely showcase your awesome DJing talents much better than Moorehead did. You could also play FORUM, which TIESTO just played a few weeks ago. SUITE or Whiskey River on a thursday night would be the best!!! Live after 5 happens every thursday at the Epicenter (which is where SUITE and Whiskey River are located ), and when live after 5 ends around 8:00, then everyone goes to either SUITE or Whiskey. Both those places are always packed on thursdays. You would own the crowd with your kick ass sets. Shoot me a few of your biz cards and I'll put them into the right hands

Charley is all yours when you get back in Charlotte !!! Glad to hear the stalker chick wasn't as bad as you thought she'd be!!! Next time, I'll have a bottle of Johnny Walker black in my truck for a post-show tail-gating party. Definitely good times all around!!! We will do it again !!!
