Our Pista has arrived...

Reading Road and Tracks reviews area a joke compared to Motor trends. You have the Editors at R and T(who couldn't drive for ****) calling the 911 GT2RS robotic to drive. Then you have pro racerRandy Pobst of Motor trend actually giving a review as he is driving Laguna Seca applauding a its balanced chassis an confidence inspiring brakes, feel and speed.

Hence why Motor Trend didn't pick the overpowered/hard to drive, ZR1 for best drivers car and Road and Track did. I'm sorry but pot belly editors that sit at a desk all day could tie Randy Pobst race shoes when it comes to reviewing/giving feed back on a super car.

 

I totally agree! We should enjoy them more...
Why did you sell the 720s?

 

Trying to keep only limited/special edition cars. Also waiting on the LT version and just ordered a SVJ. I really like the 720, don’t get me wrong.

The Pista is such a huge improvement over 458 in design and aesthetics, IMO; despite really minor changes. Love how aggressive it looks.
Haha, the blue tape; exactly the right thing to do until you get it wrapped. I even put the blue tape on top of the clear bra in strategic places when I take my cars to the track. Demand perfection!

I don’t read enough of the chat to notice groups of people hijack threads or stir the pot. So non pista current/future owners shouldn’t comment on this thread?

 

Should have done the verde ithaca green tape! Car is simply stunning! congrats. Can't wait to hear your review of Pista versus Speciale.

Of course, everyone can comment! What was going on here sounded a bit like if a friend comes to show his new Pista; but I immediately go off starting the whole conversation by saying, "oh your car may look ok but man the 720s is so much faster and better!" I don't think anyone does such a thing in person, simple courtesy and manner, but somehow on these forums it seems to be ok for some to do it. AND, there are at least two threads in which the subject of comparison tests are beaten down to death already.

 

I see your point. Understood. I think people just get excited about the newest Ferrari out and wanting to know how it compares with other competitors and didn’t think about raising it in a different thread. Anyways I love my pista and hope everyone enjoy their pistas.
