Thanks, gents. Truth to tell, i am amused by a number of folks here, particularly MarkPDX, for his constant irreverence. Being respected just sounds so, well, BORING! Fact is, this place is like a neighborhood hangout for me, even though many of the people i enjoy here I have never met in person, or even talked with by phone or PM. Another remarkable thing about this board is that it stays interesting! Some boards are close to moribund, with infrequent posts, and/or posts just among a small handful of 'insiders.' This place seems to grow, and change, and while we've lost a few to death or ennui, it stays vital and interesting.
I'll cast my vote for judge4re. Why: - 3 Ferrari's; - Montreal native (who knows Luigi); - Funny...and at times, the voice of reason.
It should be 'The most respected per catagory'. A top-notch mechanic who contributes a lot may never visit OT. The catagories should be OT, P&R, B&I, Technical Q&A and the general Ferrari section. Would Art get #1 in P&R?
Good point..... there are some excellent guys in the tech sections who never venture south of the vintage Ferrari section. I only have a passing familiarity with the discussions in tech but they are a heck of a lot more relevant to this site that anything that gets discussed in the lower sections of the board.
Matt remarked that this place isn't about cars at all but a collection of people who share cars as a common interest. Or something to that effect. Sunny
I don't think it is much of a suprise who mine is BRUCE. Since coming here he has been like a big brother to me and truly hold that in a very special place. After BRUCE I would say GUS and DARTH come in a close second. You guys rock!

F1 Ace for becoming a friend in spite of my dismissal of his staunch faith as medieval superstition. Dr. Uro for his outstandingly funny and self-deprecating wit, while letting his serious side show as well. Dr. Who, but we don't hear much from him these days.

im joking of course.. lets see, rob l and dr. who were good fellaz when i met them so theyre on my list. Also all the regulars in the Business section and anyone who drives a ferrari or a lamborghini countach or a 6.0 are cool in my book. i dont know about those murci or g car guys yet though, i have yet to figure them out. redhead is a good guy too since he likes audis, but thats the only reason.
