    Hi,
i am currently purchasing the car from out of state and just have 1 quick question!! can dealer reappraised your trade in?? cuz i am reading the copy of paper work i sign and i find an fine print on motor vehicle buyer's order

" If the buyer's used car trade in is not delivered to the seller until delivery of the new vehicle, the trade in will be reappraised at that time and buyer agrees that such reappraised value shall determine the allowance, if any, made for trade in ."

i already signed and received all the copy of the contract as well as ship 2 of my car to dealer and pay for the shipping on my cars to dealer ( even dealer have my pink slip already ) but if dealer want to lower my trade in value then i will have to pay for the shipping to have my car ship back to me or i have to eat the lost? which i seems is not fair as the consumer!! anyone have any thought on this ? cuz i know there is no cooling off period in state of california which means once we sign the contract we cannot back up the dealer no matter we want the car or not .....

The clause is generally put in the contract so that if damage happens to the trade in vehicle (its value goes down) the monetaries of the contract remain established (what the dealer gets in income for selling the car).

    Hi,
What do you mean by damage? You mean damage during the transport?
