I am trying to spec an F12 but do not know what colour to get? I LOVE the rosso berlinetta but am afraid if I get that it will be too common. I want a colour which will stand out so that when you see it it is like WOW. Any suggestions for colours which you guys think will look good on the F12? Special colours or interesting colours anyone thinks will look good please.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you want to stay in the red palette? Or would you consider any color? Do you want to stay within Ferrari's current color lineup? Or would you consider extracampionario (out-of-range) colors?

I doubt if Rosso Berlinetta will get too common because it comes with a hefty additional cost. But staying with the reds, you might consider the tri color Rosso Maranello, a more reddish metallic red vs. the more orangey Rosso Berlinetta. It is shown here in a photo taken by FChatter Jazzeo when he was speccing his 458. Notice the difference between the color in the sun and in the shade:

Hi, I would consider any colour. As long as it would be unique. I want a colour which will be unique and different to what is out there. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Yes I would be interested in that but then what type of interior colour would you recommend and tbh when someone is buying an F12 I don't think they will be worried about paying a bit more for the colour don't u think?

See if you can get it in Rosso Rubino. IMO, a burgundy red Ferrari is the ultimate in a classy looking, elegant sports car, especially if you are older and don't want to look like you are having a mid-life crisis! lol.

Wow...that colour does look amazing!!! But I am not sure whether I want a colour that stands out more or a colour that looks unique more. I was thinking bright like blue or orangey red?

Something like a very dark metallic grey.

    Or Yellow.

This car seems to look incredible in any color.

I'm not sure what your goal is here. To me, you should just buy what you like best and forget everything else.

Why would you buy a car with a color you don't like as well as another just to be "different"?

It's your money. Just buy what you want. The rest doesn't matter.

My Goal is to pick the "right" colour. I am always changing my mind and the colour of a car is one of the hardest things to choose. I just want to get it right and make sure it will look amazing in the colour I will get.

The right color to me is what looks best to me, even if everyone else agrees and buys the same thing.

It's your car. It should reflect what you like.

Unfortunately, Ferrari's online configurator does little to demonstrate the beauty and elegance of Grigio Ingrid - a color I think would look marvelous on the F12.

+1 on grigio ingrid. Quite unique in person. Rosso Rubino is indeed gorgeous. There are a few posts with some F cars in a Maserati color Blue Mediteraneo. I think this would be beautiful! Rosso Dino? That would be quite unique if you are ok with the orangey color. The Rosso colors are quite nice: fuoco, fiorano.
    Blue Swatters is interesting too.

I have a friend that had a 430 in that color and now has a 599 and 458 in the same. It doesn't
scream at you, but it's certainly an attention getter!

I have a Maserati GTS in Blu Oceano...it sparkles in the sun like nothing I have ever seen. The most beautiful blue color IMO ever.
Pictures do not do it justice...I recommend wandering around a Maserati lot and seeing it in person.

I hope to spec an F12 someday and likely will do Blu Oceano with Cuoio, Daytona seats with blue inserts, top dash blue, black steering wheel,CF here and there, door inserts in matching blue, blue stitching, yellow shields, yellow calipers....almost have it planned. Though the thread here on 575Joe's F12 (Rosso Fiorano) has me thinking..... :)
