I hope they get that price (or something close) for it. Might have a nice impact on the value of my 365.

If someone were considering buying a ratty GTC and spending money on a complete nut-and-bolt restoration, then buying this car would be a more financially sound choice.

I'm looking for a very nice car that I can drive and enjoy with minimal headaches and without feeling that there are a million things I want to do to the car "when I can get around to it." I'm willing to pay for the right car, but I'm not looking for a potential concours winner like this.

Before anyone says anything, yes, I'm also looking for a Daytona (not both, but either). I can appreciate the good and bad of a GTC, Daytona, and PF coupe and will make a move on any of the three is the right car presents itself.

You know with nice #2 cars asking $130-150K, and just KNOWING that as soon as you get it something will eat up another 20K...... hmmmm....

I wonder if this one truly would be right in all respects and could be enjoyed as a driver for 5 years with virtually no big expenses. Wayne, care to speculate???

How about that $50,000 drop in value as your "concours" car becomes a "driver?"

We will shortly be posting a very nice 330 GTC on our web site; www.symbolicmotors.com

The car is chassis 09955. Matching numbers, power windows, ac and complete tools.

    No accidents, damage, rust.

Car is red / cream and as sweet as they get without feeling guilty about driving it a couple of 100 miles a week.

The asking price will be $120K. The market for such cars is strong.

I think it will sell quickly.

    Good luck.

09955, huh? When that car was advertised a few years back by Classic Cars of La Jolla as "completely restored," I drove down to look at it. The engine was on a workbench and the tranny on the floor of their shop. The doors, hood, trunk lid, seats, carpets, bumpers and other pieces were upstairs in a loft. I had to follow the owner to his house to see the rest of the car, as it was sitting in his garage. I think he expected me to pay in advance so that he had the money to finish the restoration. Wouldn't it be funny if I still ended up with that car after all this time?
