I have a steak dinner on this one. I say he is out by close of business (London Time) next Monday.
He will no doubt be out but when is hard to say. He is an arrogant pri-- and he will stick around as long as he can just like gum in your hair.
Just waiting for the "Max gets the Axe" headline over here. It's obvious he's not going to make the decision on his own unless someone forces his hand. I will be surprised if the special meeting of the FIA Max has called ever takes place. Actually, I think there might be one, but it will occur following his departure, not as a tool for him to preserve his position as he has planned. >8^) ER
Unfortunately, the man is crazy enough to fight this issue and bring even more shame and embarrassment upon himself. We might be stuck with him for a while
Andreas and I have a case of beer riding on this. I think he will be out *either* 1) Before the next GP. It's 3 weeks away and gives plenty of time for pressure to mount, and also plenty of time for negotiations to take place on his departure (i.e. how they will spin it in the press) 2) At the upcoming FIA meeting, which may or may not be before the next GP. As was stated elsewhere, how can the King of Spain risk bumping into Mosley? If he did bump into him, he couldn't turn cheek and walk the other way and he couldn't shake hands and have a jolly old conversation either. So is Max banned from *all* GP's? I am sure a lot of folks (except Max) are thinking about this and while it was too soon to send him to the knackers yard before Bahrain, they have 3 weeks now to lube up the trailer for his trip down to the glue factory this time.
