Has anyone “over sprayed” the red krinkle painted intake covers? The paint on mine is in good condition but , of course , it has lost some of it’s vibrance over the years. I realize I’d have to take them out to do a proper job.

Best thing to do is have them removed as I did and then have them stripped and powder coated and reinstall. Only way it should be done correctly.

Try the Griots Garage, Engine Bay Dressing. I used it on mine and they look brand new now. I didn’t have any chipping paint, just looked kinda faded before.

Anyone have before and after photos? My Ferrari badge on the intake was chipping so I filled it in with color matched gregorio silverstone.

if you sand them down using fine 400 grade wet and dry it does wonders as long as the paint is not cracked. My color is restored and they look like new

Didn’t know that powder coating could be done without covering the entire piece, inside, outside, logos , etc.
I will investigate my local options .

Finish is outstanding but as its a Ferrari probably needs to be red
