    Where I live ethanol is the norm, so I've converted all my cars to work with E10: new gaskets, new hoses, deep cleaning of the tanks, and proper jetting.

    On the plus side it's a cheaper fuel, and it's also very clean, so far less crude. On the negative side original cohline braided hoses are not compatible with ethanol, so I've got to make it do with another brand. Also there are some white deposits on the jets and intake manifolds. Easyer to remove than petroleum crude, but still annoying.

    As far as altitude compensation is concerned, I would not mess with the high jets. Nicely tuned idle jets would make the enigne smell better at low rpm
