    Sorry,

Slightly off topic, but there's a car I'm interested in buying in Germany, and wanted to know if someone was familiar with foreigners buying a car in Germany, and also options to store it in Germany until I am ready to bring it home (which might be long term - a year or more at least).

    Cheers,
    Dino

Did you have any specific questions? As Lemacc said, should be fine to buy and store the car in Germany

One thing is finding a storage facility that can not only store it, but keep it on a tender, and perhaps drive it around the block to roll the wheels and the like.

Does it have to be legally registered to a German Address, or is it ok to use a foreign address?

It's a 79 model if that makes a difference, so what are the annual costs for any inspections, registration, taxes etc that I would need to pay?
