Fact 1. I have a 2006 CPO 997 non-S 6-Speed Carrera I bought for my wife who realized she likes a Volvo wagon better, soooo now I have it. Fact 2. I have a diesel Kubota lawn mower. Fact 3. The Kubota sounds better than the 997. What can I do to make the Porsh-ah sound better than the lawn mower for as little $$$$ as possible?
sorry to hear of your plight Uro....had the same problem with the TT--it went whoooooshhhh and that's about it...did the el cheapo fabspeed muffler-delete pipes...there's a clip somewhere on their website I think. but has a nice growl now. I think I found mine on the 6 speed online forum. $400 or so.. a ebay search for porsche exhaust might give you some idea what's out there. A Fcar she's not.......lol Image Unavailable, Please Login
i have the fabspeed muffler delete pipes on my 996 targa, and it certainly livened up the exhaust note. actually its pretty loud, and can be tiresome on trips over 2 hours on the interstate. another added bonus is about 50-60 pounds off the rear end of the car. cheap way to get some nice sound to your 911.
I have fabspeed 200 cell race cats and muffler by pass pipes on my 997 TT and it is LOUD. If you want something to piss off the neighbors then give this a try.
