There is P0123 Throttle Position Sensor Circuit High Voltage Error occurs every drive on '97 5.2 Motronic Euro model F355. After all errors delete via OBD scanner P0123 appears on ingnition key pos. 2 first time and second time somewhere during 1-2 hour drive (there is also check engine light appears accordingly). No other errors in Motronic. Throttle potentiometer sensor was replaced with no result.

    Where else to look?

    Thank you!

There is really nothing in the circuit other than wiring and the Motronics ECU. Could there be an intermittent short in the wiring?

It sounds like the ground is loose.

    Common ground?

I don't know. The center wire on Qavion's diagram (BN wire) goes to ground to form a voltage divider. If the ground is loose, the full 5 volts goes back to the sensor input on the ECU.

It's a common ground, shared by the knock (both banks), inlet air temperature and coolant temperature sensors.

As I said in your other thread for bypass valve.

Check continuity for pin 53 and 44 from the sensor back to the ecu. Then you know the wires are .good

Problem solved. Cause and solution as described here:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/140019658-post13.html

TPS and Knock Sensor connectors had been switched. Agrrr....

FYI - TPS connector is black! KS connector is grey (it's seems not logical as receiver connector for it is grey but is it so, we have checked wiring to ecu).

    Thanks to everyone!

Nice to know that switching the plugs does not hurt anything. Thanks for update.
