I got a CEL plugged in OBD II and it showed nothing and light went away. I started my car noticed a bit of sound from the engine (sounded like a loose piece of plastic that was hitting something about every second.

I had filled up with gas and tightened my gas cap some more and drove for a bit to see if there was an issue. Drove for about 20 miles.

I pulled into my development and my car had no power. Made it to the house. When I pulled into the garage, my CEL came on.

    I got code P0300, P03005, P03006, P03007 and P03008.

I know these are misfire codes. Any ideas?

I took a cloverleaf exit about 3 miles before my house and thought I could smell gas. When I got home I couldn't smell any in the engine bay.

P0300 is multiple random misfires. 005-8 are cyl 5-8. You MAY have a marginal fuel pump. I had some the same thing recently on 1-4

I was thinking the same the same thing. I got the p0448 code (I think that's the common one for the fuel pressure) a couple of weeks ago. I'm hoping is something like a fuel pump and nothing to do with the engine itself.

It's only 1 bank, cyl 5-8 so, fuel pump seems likely. Easily tested with pressure gauge. About $1350 to fix, though yours I believe is left bank and may cost a little more as the fuel level sending unit is part of the assembly. Pumps are not sold separately, only as a whole assembly.
