Is it possible or has anyone had the Cat threshold codes from the engine running at low temps on the open rd? Also if you have had Cat threshold codes as per the thread title could you please post a picture of the Post cat sensor extension set up you have on your car. Preferably 5.2 version cars only. I had these 2 codes and put the short straight extensions in and the codes came back next drive but i also believe my Tstat is cactus as i have a pretty low temp gauge reading out on the open rd. In town consistent 85/90C and fans work great Thanks in advance.
At one time on my 95 I would get cat overheat about 3 seconds after cranking the car on. we changes the Exhaust ECU to fix the problem. There are also ways to fool the engine ECU by straight wiring a particular voltage to the ECU. Do this only if you have measured the cat temperature and it si not actually overheating.
