I picked up a OBD II reader and got the following P1 codes for my 550. Anybody know what they are? P1128 P1446 P1445 P1124 P1541 I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!!
curious. no OBD II codes of any sort listed in the Workshop Manual. i guess there's some other documentation that must come with their official OBD II reader. keep us all posted. g/l. doody.
Doody, there are generic codes that come with the OBD. It does not contain manufacturer specific codes for Ferrari. I am hopeful that someone will have them on the board. If I get the codes I will make sure and post them for everyone. Have a great weekend Brad
according to this site http://www.flatratetech.com/pub34.htm , the 1 in the second digit means those are likely Ferrari-specific codes. P0XXX codes would be generic SAE OBD II codes, but P1XXX means they're OEM defined. i found this http://autoclinic.net/php_test/dtc_search.php OBD II code decoder, but it won't respond to X1XXX codes. fyi - i don't know jackola about OBD II codes. i'm just curious if not helpful doody.
I spent hours looking for the codes this morning no luck. I will calling Ferrari of Seattle tomorrow to see if they might part with the codes. I will keep you posted. Brad

Thanks!!! Huge help. I'm not much of a mechanic but at least I can now go for another drive and see what errors happen again and then start to trouble shoot the stuff I understand and the rest I can have a real mechanic look at. Have a great day. Regards, Brad
