Taken with my iPhone last night, not the best quality, but the pic shows the unique curves of the new car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
No photograph can really, adequately show the curves and beautiful proportions of the P1. Only seeing it live does it.....
Beautiful, indeed. But at a cost that competes with the 258 mph Bugatti Veyron, even the über rich would have to take a pass.
Was there as well.. Car looks amazing. This isn't meant to compete with the Veyron Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I cannot wait until the 19th to see this, and to those who think it will cost the same as the Veyron, it won't.
Car & Driver has put the price point at $1.2M. Is it competing directly with the Veyron, not for top speed it isn't. But if you had that kind of money, what would you buy?
The McLaren! ... being a Bruce McLaren fan I'd have an orange one with a black kiwi where the Ferrari shield goes. BUT while I love those tail lights, how can they be legal in the US. The US would not legalise the original Maserati GranSport/Coupe (not sure of name) with fantastic looking thin tail lights and these are even thinner!!! Pete
I'm not a fan of the "rope light" LEDs that look like Xmas decorations from Home Depot. But the back of this car is very, very sexy. The extended honey comb details are really nice even though Lambo-like. The front to me looks like some piece is missing. But, I don't like black wheels on any car so what do I know. This is going to sound really picky but as a designer this kind of stuff irks me. The logo looks more like P4 than P1. It's not well designed or properly proportioned. I mean, this is the best logo you can come up with on a car costing over $1M? Anyone know what that silver box is on the roof?
