P4/5 Competizione 24HR color scheme?

  1. C/F as in testing?

  2. Skin it for an interesting look?

  3. Salute the American effort and give it a red/white/blue livery?

I honestly think an American (RWB) liverly would be more appropriate for such a great American effort. No disrespect to Ferrari but in some small way JG's effort and fortitude is kinda like a resurgence of a NART team effort.

Another option would be the famous white base color with blue stripe often run by Ferraris running in the US or with an American connection by Luigi Chinetti's North American Racing Team in the 50s and 60s. I'm sure there are lots of photos out there...

Yah I'm aware of the NART colors (that was merely a reference) but there could be legal issues with that color scheme. The NART team was basically a factory backed effort and this project is not in any sense or way backed by them thus flying the red/white and blue would imho be more appropriate.

I'd like to see a red, white, and primarily blue scheme. I definitely wouldn't leave it unskinned, as a 24 hour sand-blasting (along with pebble-blasting and debris-blasting, etc etc) really makes carbon fiber look like crud. But it is Jim's car and his project; the choice is his!

Yes we all know the choice is strictly his I just thought it might be interesting and strictly for fun to see what others think. I can live with either or so I'm good.

Carbon, and only because no one else in the field will do it.

I think it's a tribute to the independent effort behind the car.

I'd like to suggest that a woodgrain skin in the spirit of the classic wooden F50 would be most excellent, as raw carbon is already played out IMO and RWB seems uninspired.

A woody P4/5... would be pure awesome.
