For the past 6-8 weeks I have been getting “random” p430 (catalyst efficiency right bank). I understand that this is triggered if the upstream and downstream oxygen sensors read the same in closed loop mode.

What perplexes me is that I can clear the code and drive 3-4k kms across 10-15 days and a wiide variety of journeys with no code. The code seems to be triggered by driving the car for 30 minutes to an hour, parking for no less than 15 minutes and no more than an hour, then driving again. After 10-15 minutes there is the CEL. This sequence has been repeated 4 times.

I will read the sensor voltages at idle and while revving and post them when I have a chance.

Car runs great and the CEL has no impact on performance, it is an annoyance more than anything

In other news, I have crossed 50k kms of driving my 612 in 23 months, the total kms is just under 80k, and it is a beautiful day in central France.

Wonder if you have dripping/leaking fuel injectors on that side? Too much fuel can affect the cats and would not be as much of a problem under continuous running conditions.

Could just be the sensors themselves getting lazy. They do age over time and become less responsive.
