IMO the "key" he pick up is a "raw" model of the car, what it will look like.

Maybe so; I'm sticking with my key theory until the next cup. :D

Interesting. I had to Google that, but still unsure of the translation. Is it "two twenty", i.e. a possible hint as to the top speed?

Yes, it could very well be a key, but IMO it look like the car, or what the car will look like ;)

Check it out in full screen :D

Thats makes it only 3mph faster than the Zonda. Surely more than that.

that is a model of the car , its going to look awsome, just play that bit over and over again and you will get the look of back end.

Maybe its a model that doubles as a key fob. Multi-function just as I suspected. :D

If you look at the picture 4re nut posted earlier you can see the bottom of the "thingie". That is definetly not a model. And why would he slurp down an espresso and play with a toy?

agreed, pagani is all about details and such...it sits on the table as a 1/43 scale solid of the real car

pic of c9 mule attached...it looks more an evolution of the zonda, more rounded...not liking the nose!?...gullwings make a cabrio version more difficult

i was hoping for something all new, radical direction for a pagani, sharper, more edge...

^ I don't like it. Hope it looks hotter de-camouflaged.

Don't you think it's just basically a Zonda with different bodypanels and that the C9 will look more curvy and vulgar? :)

Wow. I hope that prototype looks nothing like the real deal, if it does, then Pagani have gone from one of the most beautiful cars of all time to Rectal Massager in one generation.

It look like what it is, a prototype. Just a Zonda with a few changes. Probably a testbank for drivetrain, engine, suspension etc.
And chances are it will not look like thaqt at all. Too many Zonda elements I think.

I didn't pick up on that until you said it. I was thinking: "Eh? Not a single view of the car?"

Hmmm... interesting. Looks like they evolved the Zonda into something less kit car-looking and there are even a few classic Ferrari influences in there. Did the air intakes on the reach haunches make anyone else think of Ferrari?

I always hated the aesthetics of the Pagani Zonda, so am very keen on seeing a non-camouflaged production version of this Pagani. I'll reserve final judgement until then. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

the camo is pretty thin in those pics, so IMO can see alot of the production intended through it

rear is not too bad, more integrated, but still pattern of the zonda, and did anyone notice the active-aero flaps on the top tail rear edge?

    front is just fugly!

to me, pagani has the ability and freedom to make a new model, and each one afterward, in a completely different direction then the zonda, speaking at least styling wise!
IMO it would be a shame to see him locked into a perpetuation of "evo"-zondas

i can see it'll likely incorporate a lot of tech from the zonda-R, but for the leading edge of speed-tech, then look to ferrari IMO

pagani seems more suited to being a high performance car with a focus to a distinct individual & rather flamboyant style, rather then leading edge speed-tech IMO
and i would imagine potential pagani customers would look for that to be continued?
