    Hi,
I'd like to let you know the following - good? - news.
The day before yesterday a Pagani Zonda had a terrible crash at 320kmh on the highway near Savona, Italy. Well, the strange - luckily - thing is that 28-year-old German driver and his lady were virtually untouched!!
The car made a number of tete-à-queues, lost a wheel, crashed onto another car and ended its rush flying on the other side of the highway. After all that, the cockpit is... as new!
Needless to say: the 1.2 million € car is to be thrown away...

I have to say Pagani Zonda is definitely an extremely beautiful, fast, expensive but also SAFE car!

Well as no one was hurt, this is pretty funny:

"No one else was involved in the incident and, once arrived there, the police removed the license at the young man, a German citizen of 28 years who led his side with a 21 year old Lithuanian girl."

Given the construction methods it makes for a good study, Carbon Tub and spaceframe subframes it should make Horacio Pagani happy! the Sequence of the crash also probably assisted, as there doesnt appear to be a sudden stop.

Yeah, a crash against a concrete wall at that speed wouldn't probably have had the same 'happy ending'...

You know all kidding aside - what was this guy thinking? That's obviously not only dangerous to him and his passenger, but to others.

I just think about the senseless deaths of people with cars like this - Charles "Mask" Lewis comes to mind.

If you want to shoot a gun - you go to a range. If you want to fight legally - you go to a gym. If you want to race your car - go to a track.

The immaturity and irresponsibility of people never ceases to amaze me. Thank God everyone is alright, but this is really inexcusable.

I'm sad to see a Zonda ruined, but also glad to see that no one was injured.

the latest says he lost it @ 100/kph which seems a little far fetched considering the extent of the damage.

probably not 320/kph but seemingly more than 100/kph.

does a pagani have a black box?
