    so i drove the car again today I cant believe the incredible sound with level 3 but it is a bit loud. I want to get the "wireless remote control conversion Kit" so that I can control flaps to get tame for normal driving and then insanity for when i want it. What do you think. Is this the answer i have been looking for?

    Heard a Capristo at the Festa di Ferrari in Stamford, but he wasn't sure what 'level' it was. either way sounded awesome at idle, but imagine could be tough on the road. Heck my STi daily driver (winter) is bad enough that I wear ear plugs for any trips over 30 min!

    A level 1 with the factory bypass valve does the same thing...... except the remote control is integrated into the gas pedal....... :rolleyes:...... ;)

    but the level 3 has a different sound at high rpms right? thats what I thought. If there is no sound/performance difference between the levels, whats the point?

    I believe the three sound levels affect the sound only when the 355 bypass valve is closed......... when the bypass opens (at high RPMs), all three versions are straight through and unattenuated....

    hmm, that would be awesome to try and find out. If i could get flaps on the level 3 it might be cheaper than getting mine uninstalled and everything.

    ........... can you get credit for your level 3?? Though you may be right as to which may be cheaper.....
