I think I come to conclusion! The HS package, based on what I read, will include magnaride anyway, and I already intend to purchase the HS package, so problem solved!

Totally agree with that ... there has been a used cuoio wheel with the LEDs on eBay forever, it does not look good like that. My car, although it has a cuoio interior, came with a black leather wheel and black upper dashboard so I would swap in a heartbeat for the carbon LED wheel. The black wheel has a silver center which looks a bit odd, as well. I would find the carbon less jarring even though there is no other carbon in my car.

Here's my current interior and below that a T with a black upper dash and the carbon LED wheel.

I love the LEDs and can find them helpful under heavy acceleration in low gears since redline comes up so fast, and they allow you to keep your eyes on the road. They also provide entertainment for passengers. For me its part of the Ferrari experience.

Yes, the standard black dash in your car would work very well with an LED steering wheel. I believe MACarbon lists them for $6,500 and maybe you can use the aluminum cover plate on your OE steering wheel to match the rest of the aluminum trim. My car is all-cuoio inside so it really needs a custom all-cuoio LED steering wheel.

The regular factory options don't quite offer enough variations to match all the materials (e.g. aluminum trim). The factory seems to favour CF which doesn't work as well if you want a car with a "vintage aircraft aluminum" theme, which is quite a classic look for a leather interior "sports car". Pagani understands that idea very well and Ferrari also tries to offer it with the California but doesn't go nearly far enough.

Tailor-made cars should have matching leather interiors that cover all the details, which would have included the steering wheel segment that holds the LED strip as well as a high quality trunk liner. Alcantara is a performance-themed material and is more compatible with an edgy aggressive modern "racer" look; does not go at all with a classic look.

I saw a photo of a Cali with a all-cuoio LED steering wheel one time. It looked great. If my car doesn't give me problems after warranty expiration I might spring for a special order all-cuoio LED steering wheel from their INEDITA studio. Unfortunately, redoing the trunk liner would pose a challenge.

Actually, on the topic of steering wheel LEDs, I think they would work much better if the driver could select at what engine RPM they light up fully.
