I'm looking for a good exotic body repair shop near Austin (preferrably) but am open to taking the car elsewhere in Texas to get the best paintwork. I'm new to the area and welcome any/all advice on this front.

    Thanks,

    Jim

    Bump...

I will get suggestions from exotic dealers as well, but I really value your opinions and experience. Can you give me a little guidance here? Feel free to send me a private message if you'd like to steer me towards, or even away from particular vendors.

If you don't mind me asking, what's wrong with it? Is it something that can be buffed out?

Hit a deer. Needs a new nose and hood (not fenders), no bodywork or mechanical at all. Miraculously, there's absolutely no other damage to the car.

If it helps anyone to make a suggestion, the car is perfectly drivable and I can deliver it anywhere.

Joe Berli in Pflugerville does every BMW, Lexus and other high end cars in town. He has some photos on his site. He is extremely good and fairly priced. I'm going to take my 308 to him for a full paint when needed (next year probably).

I second that, they repaired my Porsche 993, took 3 months because of parts availability. I worked in a body shop in my youth so I can always tell when a car has seen paint - mine was near perfect - down to the correct spot weld, I was very impressed especially for a place that deals with "normal" cars.
