    I'm trying to find a paint to match the silver used on the 1969 Ghiblis. All the modern day paints seem to have larger metal flakes. Can anybody point me toward a source for a period correct silver metallic?

    Go to a Glasurit or RM dealer: they have silvers in 3 or 4 different flake-sizes, and they can match it up for you.
    The other possibility is, but I don't know for Maserati, that they used a different media to obtain the metallic effect, in the way Jaguar did. They will be able to match that as well.

    Argento for the Ghibli is paint code 106E1. The PPG code is 33180
