    Hi all,
    I want to make a scale model replica of a famous Countach in the color Rame Colorado Metallizato.
    The paint code is LAM0024.

    However my paint shop can't make it because it is not in their 3 systems !

    (like Rosso Vik = LAM0032 but they cant get the 'recipe')
    (Rosso Vik became Rosso Efesto but I do not have the paint code for that either ....)

    Can anybody get the 'recipe' from one of their suppliers?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated !

    I managed to get a sample in the UK from Brown Brothers, who are the UK distributors for PPG. if it helps, the brand code is 40039233 and the mixing scheme is called Deltron (BC). I don't know what any of this means; I'm just repeating what the distributor told me. The sample was free (small tin, maybe 200 ml) so it might be viable for you to get it shipped to wherever you are. Alternatively, you might want to contact your local PPG distributor.

    Good luck with the model. The reason I know the above is that my Silhouette was originally Rame Colorado and one day it will be again!

    I am also planning to build a model Countach in this color (this is the copper color, correct?) So please keep updated if you have any luck getting it mixed

    BTW, which model are you building?

    Thank you Jonathan. Not sure what your info means either, but maybe my paint shop will.

    I will be doing a conversion (basically a repaint in and out) on an Ixo model in scale 1/43.
    My whole collection is 1/43 :)

    Ahh, 1/43 leaves room on the shelf ;) I've found that 1/12 take up a lot of space...

    reaching the number of 300 (different) models, even my shelfs get crowded .....

    but we're drifting off-topic... :)

    So any help with the Rame Colorado paint or Rosso Vik/Rosso Efesto issue will be great!!
    We know the paint codoes are LAM0024 and LAM0032 but they cannot be mixed at the paint shop... who's got the color recipe ???
