I have a 2008 Scud which has been showing some spider webs in the paint just under the exhaust outlets on the rear bumper. It has definitely gotten worse over time. Ferrari of Houston has said they can respray the bumper, but they have not been clear as to whether this is unusual. Has anyone had the same issue? Thanks in advance.

Mine is an 08' and I don't have that issue. Can you post some pictures? The only thing that I can think of is if you are missing the small protection metal plates that are attached to the bumper right on top of the exhaust tips.

Are you the original owner? If not, possibly it was repaired and sprayed. Does it look like heat damage or did someone "kiss" you? My 08 looks fine.

From all indications a re-spray; maybe not prepped correctly.

The cracks on the front bumper is a very common issue on the scuderias. The bumper flexes a lot and causes those cracks. I had mine repaired the driver's side and resprayed the entire bumper. The other day I noticed the same issue on the other side. Déjàvou all over again.

+1. Have seen the cracks near the front vents on several cars. Hoping it doesn't pop up on mine!

yes im sure, i had the dealer emailed the pictures to italy to warranty it but they refused, same goes with rocks and pebbles that WILL scratch up ur rims when stuck between the calipers which is evident on ALL scuderias! And still ferrari italy said no can do.
imagine stuff like this on a benz or toyota, class action for sure.

Well I don't usually subscribe to "misery loves company" but in this case I do.About a week ago I noticed the vent in front of the front drivers side wheel had some paint cracks.I had blamed everyone from the guy who recently trailered my car in for it's spring service to the
attendents at my car club.Even had two body shops look at it and they told me the bumper
must have flexed and the vent was the weak spot.Barely noticeable but...Thanks to all of you who share the same problem.I'll cancel my reservation at the looney bin.

My rear bumper was not great from the factory. I think there had been some minor cracking that had been wet sanded. I have since repainted it. Not the original owner, but supposedly none of the panels had been repainted. So sounds like I may have had something similar.

Actual amount of paint on the rear bumper is minimal, and removal is pretty easy. Key is to match the paint, but a good shop should have no issue.

It seams that we all share the same Ferrari issues here. It goes back to "if you want a perfect car don't get a Ferrari" unfortunate but so true. But again if these things bother someone, he will never own a Ferrari.
