Can any one tell me the paint formulas for the light metallic blue colours of Azzuro Metallizzato (106-A-32) and also for Blue Chiaro Metallizzato (106-A-38) as used on 246 Dinos (not the later 308 Blue Chiaro Metallizzato which was much darker blue, I believe, and has code 106-A-72).

Any help or suggestions would be welcome as I want to do a couple of test spray outs before choosing the final colour.

    Simon,

Enter the codes onto this site without the hyphons and you'll be able to bring up the formulations. Any decent paint mixer should be able to access the Glasurit system to mix it for you.

Thanks Iain, that's a very useful tool. Do you know if the formulas are accurate? I know Glasurit are one of the main players but I hear of so many formulas being incorrect.

They are as accurate as you are likely to get I believe Simon. My bodyshop use PPG and have access to a database that also gives the formulations using their products but there is no online equivalent for that system. Any variations will be minimal and likely undetectable to the eye.

Thanks again. I have emailed PPG this morning for their formulas and am waiting for their response. I don't know very much about paint formulas and am a little bit colour-blind so I am anxious to get the colour right.
