Question:Those of you who own 360's[Coupes and Spiders],are you satisfied with the quality of the body paint? How does it compare with other Ferraris you own, have owned,or seen? How does it compare to the quality of other cars you are familiar with? And lastly,if you have had problems with the 360 paint quality, what did you do to get it fixed?
    Thanks.

I had heard accouints of splotchy paint jobs on 360s. Fortunately, my G.T. 360 turned out to be perfect. No splotches, no drips, and absolutely no orange peel. Maybe I just got lucky...

btw, Porsches are known for their great paint jobs. I consider my 360's paint job to be as good as that on any 911 I've owned.

That said, I remember looking at a brand new 348 many years ago which had a horrible paint job. I think Ferrari has made some process improvements over the years.

I have owned 4 Ferraris. Still have 2 of them (F-40 and TR). Previous cars were 328 and 360 Spider. All of the cars were low mileage with no previous repaint work except for the front bumper on the TR and the 360 due to stone chips. None of the cars had exceptional paint, in fact the repaint work done by the dealer was of better quality than the factory paint. Worst of all in regards to straightness is the F-40, probably due to the limited production run. The 360 had reasonable paint quality but nothing better than you would find on a new car at your local GM dealer. (Boy I am sure that last comment will get some heat! but it's true.)

My '04 Modena (Titanium) is better than my last BMW, equal to my wife's Boxster, but not as good as my NSX.

Nero Daytona to my 360 Modena and it is perfect, i think that these cars are hand painting so it is not 100% sure if it will be a fine work because there are hands that make them and not robots.

I think the paint job on my 360 is pretty good. I heard that the paint used on the 360 is different from all other car manufacturers because ferrari uses lead based paint, where as other marks, such as mercedes and porsche uses water based paint. Obviously, the lead base is better.
